Basement Blues Cover

Meant to post this a couple of months ago - tempus fugit!

The cover for Basement Blues - photo manipulation in Painter again. I added lighting and colour, plus a texture effect to get that grainy look.

The Blue moon Agency Logo was done in Corel Draw by hand; and will be on all of the series books.

Laid Hold cover

My friend and talented writer Richard Shury has finally released the e-version of Laid Hold the Dragon (I cannot say just how much I love that title), and got yours truly to play with the cover.

Although this is more image manipulation of a classic painting,  and adding textures and colour and playing with the lighting - I'm still pretty happy with this. More importantly, so is Richard.

Village scene WolfSong trailer

I'm currently working on a book trailer, so still at the story boarding & experimental stage. This will probably not make the final cut -  looking at it here I'm just not happy with the blood pools. Back to the drawing board..

WolfSong Book cover

I'm quite happy with this; although struggling a bit with the print fonts. Still, I think it caught the spirit of the book quite well.

Done in Painter using watercolour and oils.

Challenge

Another work done on Painter. I'll be using this in the exhibition in November.

Corel Painter Work - "Play while you burn"

This came out a little funkier.. Might try a few prints of this. Done with oils and the SFX tool.

Take it a step further for some real fun..
